Ipswich River Day Camps
The Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary contains 2,265 acres of wetlands, meadows, forests, and the Ipswich River. Mass Audubon hosts day camps there for children aged 4-14 that allow them to explore the outdoors, learn about and observe plant and animal life, and, as the slogan says, “Have Fun In Nature!” These promotional materials were created to appeal to potential daycampers through the use of a friendly spokesanimal. I created a family of friendly beavers going about camp activities such as catching butterflies, and used a custom font made of wood pieces in support of the beavers and in reference to nature.
